Welome to Port Isaac Holidays
The traditional Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac consists of a fascinating jumble of old cottages and houses clustered around a beautiful sheltered harbour, sitting between steep hills to all sides. There are many small lanes and alleyways to explore in the old part of the village, which has kept its original charm and character and is unspoilt by commercialism. The village is regularly used as a location for film and television, and is currently featured in the television series 'Doc Martin'. For keen walkers and birdwatchers the North Cornwall Coast Path extends in both directions from the village and offers some of the most spectacular coastal cliff walking in Cornwall.
You are spoilt for choice for places to eat in Port Isaac, with its excellent pubs, restaurants and take away. Self-caterers are also well provided for with bakeries, fish cellars by the quay, and a small co-op at the top of the hill.
The amazing sandy beaches and bays for which this part of Cornwall is renowned are all within easy reach.
